Common Problem with the DTH and Tips to Fix Them

Whether you are planning to buy DTH services or you are new user of Direct to Home service, the first thing that bothers you would be the grumbles and complaints you have heard from other DTH users about few frequent DTH problems that affects your happy home entertainment time so much.

While these situations occur, before panicking and waiting for the professionals to troubleshoot your DTH system, try the following troubleshooting methods.

When you face common problems like poor signal reception, set top box turning irresponsive, absence of on demand menu and DVR recording problems, the best to refresh and reload yoru set top box is by resetting it. 

To Reset The Router and Set Top Box :  Just unplug the router and leave it undisturbed for 1 minute and then plug it again and turn on. By doing this you may find restart is the best option to fix 90% of set top box issues.

Note: Almost all settings you have entered such as device codes, favorite channels, and recent selections are saved and will be available after resetting your Set-Top Box.

Unfortunately there is no DTH provider who has come up with a rain-proof set top box that works great even during severe climatic conditions. But ensure you opt for DTH services with higher frequency Ka bands that are inclined towards this issue.
